Add a product
Products → Add Product: name, category, brand, unit, selling price, buying price, reorder level, barcode / SKU, pictures and the location. Tick Service for something without stock (a repair, a haircut).
Variants
A product sold in colours or sizes has variants, each with its own stock and price.
Stock
The stock moves by itself with every sale, purchase, return and transfer. To change it by hand (restock, damaged, found ...) open the product; every change is kept in its stock history with who did it and why.
Barcodes
Scan barcodes on the sale page and the POS, with a scanner or the phone camera. Print barcode labels from the product.
Bins and serial numbers
With Warehouse Management, a product has a Usual Bin and its page shows the quantity in each bin. With Serial Numbers, tick Each piece has a serial number and give the warranty in months.
Low stock
A product at its reorder level shows as Low Stock and the people who restock get an alert.
